Make no mistake: weve tested, studied and perfected the programs we implement today. Through our research, using state-of-the-art performance testing tools with synchronized video to document progress, weve learned how to develop competitive athletes. Quite simply, we have the athlete down to a science.
Check it out: hockey, football, baseball, volleyball, ski racing, basketball, rowing, cycling, wrestling, soccer, lacrosse, gymnastics, cross-country, golf, tennis, swimming, bobsledding, track and field—any athletic performance—it all begins at Athletic Republic with a training program that translates your improved effort to performance on the field. Our science + our trainers + your effort = dramatic improvement in your sport.
Your test results are uploaded into our Athlete Information Management System (AIMS), which allows each athlete to measure their progress and compare their results with other athletes of the same age, gender, geography, sport and even sport position. Athletes are tested at appropriate intervals in the following areas:
•linear speed
•agility
•power
•dynamic stability/symmetry
•strength
•conditioning level
•sport-specific tests (throwing velocity, serving velocity, skating efficiency, etc.)

Through intricate combinations of programs and equipment coupled with video testing, we train you to enhance speed, build power and develop agility.

strength training without equipment?

i am a teen soccer player and trying to improve my stregth but dont have any equipment and i need things i can do without equipment (e.g. push ups, pull ups, sit ups, dips) please help

having played soccer my whole life i have lots of advice for you. sit ups…do them all day long. that is where the power comes from for your shots. stretch everyday, morning and night. dont forget to stretch your back. do calisthenics. knee ups, shorts sprints..you know all those little annoying running drills that coaches make you do. try to dribble the ball as much as possible. and when inside use a tennis ball…it is small and helps to develop the touch on the ball, and your confidence in dribbling. start a running regime…start small, a mile to a mile and a half. then work your way up to longer distances as you feel comfortable. eat right and drink lots of water…cut out pop. and yes do push ups, and chin ups

How can I become a better soccer player?

Okay I have many years if experience but ive never been amazing at soccer. I want to improve this season so I can get on a really good travel team this fall. So how do I train for soccer? What are good drills? What should I improve? What should I eat? What equipment should I get? What should be my program?

Stay in shape. Try to prevent injuries from happening so that you are always 100% fit (a quality shin pad that fits your leg and socks designed for soccer should help). Run every day to stay in shape. Drink water during the play. And sleep enough before the match. You will not perform well (good pass, run and shoot) if your exhausted.
Practice. You’ll not only want to keep up your endurance, but also your ability to handle the ball (get the ball: keep it or pass it).
Be confident in yourself. Tell yourself that you are a part of the best set of soccer players ever. Remember that soccer is all about team effort, so pass the ball every now and then and let everyone take a shot.
Play your best, regardless of the position that you play. If you play goalkeeper, remember you are the last line of defense. Know what position you are playing and maintaining it. Fill others’ position if they are not in theirs. Commit yourself to the ball—that includes diving and big smacks down the pitch.
Have fun! Love the sport. Having fun is one thing that makes the game worthwhile. Learn to love the game, and practice all the time. You will slowly but surely get better and enjoy the game more.
Remember that good sportsmanship is a sign of a good player.
A player who loves the game is a good player regardless of skill. Love is essential; if you don’t want to be there, it will show.
If you want to show off and do things like the maradona or the ronaldo, go ahead, it might just work. However, make sure you practice these beforehand; You will probably stumble the first time that you try to pull off a bicycle kick for your first time, which is okay. Keep at it.
Listen to your coaches and your parents. Never turn your back at them.
Concentrate as much as you can. See how other’s play, where they are standing and help them in some ball situation.

Is there an organisation or eve a soccer club where I can find sponsor help?

We are an amateur football club in Rodrigues Island in the Indian Ocean. Actually we are facing financials difficulties to run the club properly. We are seeking any help for our training sessions. it is becoming more and mre difficult to hae good training sessions as we are lacking in training equipments such as balls, boots, training equipments. So I should be very grateful if someone can proposed any organisations or clubs where I could try to seek for help. Thanx very much.

Have you all tried asking family members? Maybe someone on your team has parents or an uncle that might want to sponsor you. I would start there.

Any good soccer exercises or warmups I could do by myself which require little equipment?

I really want to get good at soccer this summer, but there aren’t many people around to play. Any tips on soccer exercises or training techniques i could do by myself with little equipment and no team or partner?

A: You don’t really need equipment to practice it, that’s the beautiful thing about it.

If you want to learn techniques, start dribbling the ball and learn how to do this at fast and slower paces, practice your technique and tricks, practice both leg shots far and close, and try aiming.
